BEFORE YOU GO
Make sure it is worth the drive
A few normal questions can save you a wasted trip.
Find the right scooter. Compare the ones you're considering.
Unknown does not count against a scooter. If an important fact is missing, we leave it as something to verify instead of pretending it failed.
Choose a class and price range, then check any scooters you want to keep in the running.
The range uses structured published USD prices only. Scooters without a structured price stay visible instead of being guessed away.
Press the scooter buttons below to select the brand, model and variant. Then press the compare button after it lights green.
Choose two scooters to compare.
A dash means no verified value for that exact scooter. Capacity listed in Ah and energy listed in Wh are not directly comparable without verified voltage; conflicting figures remain labeled, not resolved.
A practical check before you hand over the money. You do not need to interrogate the seller—just verify the important stuff and price any problems honestly.
BEFORE YOU GO
A few normal questions can save you a wasted trip.
FIRST LOOK
Make sure the scooter and charger match the listing before worrying about cosmetics.
WHEELS, BRAKES, AND FRAME
Scratches and worn grips are minor. Cracks, bends, wheel play, and bad brakes are not.
BATTERY AND CHARGING
The useful test is whether the battery charges normally and stays steady under load.
TEST RIDE
Start slow, then add enough load to reveal obvious problems.
WHEN YOU FIND A PROBLEM
Explain your number without turning the inspection into an argument.
PRICE IT AS IT SITS
Do not pay today for repairs you only hope will be easy.
WALK-AWAY SIGNS
A cheap scooter stops being cheap when the battery or structure is unsafe.
Bottom line: be friendly, verify the important things, and make an offer based on the scooter's condition today—not what it cost new or what it might become after repairs.
